The data above displays variations in the Australian workforce by occupation and gender in the previous year.
overall, it can be observed that the total male employees is higher than the female employees. The number of male employed persons were higher in every sectors other than the professionals and clerical. The most female employees were from clerical sector and male employees from tradespeople.
Most of the employees were male except in professionals and clerical sectors. In tradespeople and production sectors, female employees were 100 with the lowest according to all the sectors. There were slight variations among male and female employed persons in professionals, semi-professionals and clerical sectors, but in other sectors it was considerably large.
Female employed persons in clerical sector was the highest among all the seven sectors with number of slightly less than 1000. From the male employed persons about 900 was in tradespeople which was the highest among male employees.
