Some people think that they should solve environmental issues such as climate change, while others are sure that they should adapt to the weather conditions. This essay will agree with the idea that people should take part in solving the problem of climate change.
On the one hand, people have to learn how to reduce the impact of human production on the environment. Manufacturing leads to the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which create warm effects on the planet and become the reason for global warming. When people burn fossil fuels for heating homes, driving cars, and operating factories, they release emissions that contribute to climate change. Furthermore, glaciers are melting due to greenhouse gas emissions. It also has a dramatic effect on the climate. If people stop damaging the environment by producing harmful gases, the problem of global warming will be solved. For example, about a quarter of the reduction in the area of glaciers on Earth is directly related to global warming caused by greenhouse gases produced by humans.
On the other hand, people should adapt to the weather changes. Some scientists believe that humans have not influenced climate. Moreover, they are sure that the Earth temperature has always increased and decreased, and this indicator is within the limits of natural temperature fluctuations. For instance, a study conducted by scientists from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics found that “many records indicate that the 20th century is probably neither the warmest nor the unique extreme climate period of the last millennium.”
To conclude, people should try to prevent harmful effects from the environment from human production, such as climate change. However, people cannot take part in environmental issues and learn to live with them.
