Researchers believe that individuals consume lots of junk food, which harms their health. Some think by educating people can tackle this issue, however, others do not agree with it. In this essay I will delve into both sides.
The number of people argue that if they know the hazards of eating junk food, they will choose healthy meals. For instance, government can show risks of junk food such as obesity, heart disease, and suggest healthful alternatives. Additionally, at school tutors can explain damages of unhealthy food and help them to shape their habits for life. We should not underestimate the effect of children to their parents, they can force them to eat fresh produce. When people understand how harmful junk food for their health, they might consider eating more fruits and vegetables.
On the contrary, others say that educating not enough, because numerous of people already know how junk food influences to their health, but they continue to eat it. This is because junk food is convenient, cheap and fast delivery. Nowadays, people have flexible working hours that’s why after work they do not have energy to prepare healthful food. They just prefer to order from food court, for the reason that they bring meal about 20 minutes. Therefore, just knowing damages of junk food may not change their eating habits.
From my perspective, education plays pivotal role in reducing unhealthy food. Government can prohibit lots of advertising about fast food and they also can make healthy food more accessible and affordable. They can just make lower prices of fruits and vegetables.
