Dear Simon,
Hi Simon, by the time you receive this letter, I will probably have moved a month ago. I have been accepted at the medical school in Milan, which I told you about, and that’s why I had to move to Milan.
My new home is an apartment in a decent neighborhood ten minutes from Milan’s city center, close to many cultural and social events and bars. I can access any public transportation within a five-minute walk, and even though it is a historic apartment building, the exterior is very well preserved. The apartment is rented out furnished and the appliances are energy efficient. Even though the rooms are relatively small, they are enough for a single person. It is also very pleasant to look at the city from the balcony.
I know you are busy at the moment, but it would be a pleasure to welcome you in my new home and walk around the city with you. It’s a mix of culture and modern age. I’m sure you will be very happy to visit. Just send me a letter if you want to come.
Love to Austria!
Batu
