The table illustrates the percentage of monthly household expenditure in France, Germany, UK, Turkey and Spain.
Overall it can be seen that, all the mentioned European countries spend the major of their earrings on food and drinks along with living, whilst they spend less amount on entertainment and on clothing. Also, it is clear that, French, German and English people spend more on housing than food and drinks but the people of Turkey and Spain spend more on food and drinks.
In detail it can be seen that, French, German and English people spend more than one third of their earnings on housing sector at 31%, 33% and 37% respectively. However, they spends a bit less amount on their food and drinks. On the other side, Turkish and Spanish spends on reverse order. They spend more than 30% of their monthly income on Food and drinks consumption and spends one fifth of their earning on the place they reside in.
In the remaining two sectors, clothing and entertainment all the five countries spend less amount of their monthly earnings. In clothing sector French and Spanish people spend less than 10% while other countries spend ranging from 11% to 15%. Turkish people spend the least amount on entertainment at 10% while, at 19% people of Germany spends the most on entertainment.
