Band 4+: In some countries it is thought advisale that children begin formal education at four years old, while in others they do not have to start school until they are seven or eight. How far do you agree with either of these views?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, children education in a lot of regions in the world starts that children have 4 year old, whereas others places believe it is not necessary to begin school at 7 or 8 year old. In this essay, I will consider both points of view with my opinion.

Firstly, the year that children to begin school reflected in general in social and economy situation of country. According to studies, the nations with low started age for school have high GDP. In fact, most of development states have high quality of education and students have an excellent preparation. However, the mind in the 4 year old is a sponge and professors can teach them a lot of new things without problems because in this stage children understand quickly different topics. Besides, the teaching method is extremely important because children get bored easily and professor should teach with creativity and fun activities. According to data, the classic lessons behind a desk doesn’t work with children.

On the other side, poor countries in general have a lot of problems about education system. For this reason, children start at 7/8 year old because in these countries there a few professors that can teach also basic topics, such as reading, writing, math and another subjects. In addition, some families need their sons to alive because also the children begin to work very early. However, this situation constitues a lack of growth opportunity of everybody in the country.

To sum up, advantages of starting school at 4 year old is higher than a different kind of situation. But, it is not easy yo apply for each country because current policy and economy situation not able to build an efficiency education system.
