A skill that I learned that was more difficult than I expected is listening and reading, but the more difficult one was reading. I wanted to learn it just to pass my IELTS exam, and it's compulsory for everyone, so I had no choice. I started learning it, and what made it difficult was the words. I didn't know the synonyms of some words, which made it harder. The words I didn't know were the answers, and I got very few correct answers. Before learning reading, I started learning vocabulary. It helped me with reading and finding more correct answers because of these words. It also improved my speaking. If you know vocabulary, you can do everything because you understand all the synonyms of the words. This knowledge helped me with my reading. That's it.
