The bar chart shows the internet usage in Taiwan by four different age groups during the year 1998 to 2000
Overall, it is visible that people between the age 16 to 30 used the internet most while children which are below 15 used least in between the year 1998 to 2000
In year 1998 the age group between 16 to 30 attributed for the largest percentage of internet users at 53% but in 1999 and 2000 it steadily declined into 45% and 44% but at that time too they where attributed for the largest percentage of internet usage. A similar trends was seen among users aged 31 to 50 whose proportion fell from 41% in1998 to 37% in 2000
Meanwhile the age group below 15 and above 50 continuously had less usage throughout the three year but they increased usage of internet at small amount the group less than 15 years had the lowest internet users in 1998 at 2% but in 1999 it steadily increased into 8% and increased again to 9% at 2000 the age group above 50 followed a similar trend starting at 4% in 1998 it increased into 10% at 2000
