Overall, although young adults are the people who the most use the Internet, young people have the lowest per cent of Internet usage between 1998 and 2000.
The bar chart data clearly shows that the per cent of young adults who use the Internet is almost half, respectively 53%, 45%, and 44%. This is the highest level among all age groups. Adults have the second highest per cent of Internet use between 1998 and 2000.
According to the chart, the lowest per cent is for children’s use of the Internet, subsequently 2%, 8%, and 9% between 1998 and 2000. Also, the per cent for older adults is the second lowest from 1998 to 2000, except in 1999. In 1999, the per cent for the oldest people is the same as the per cent for the youngest people.
