The image displays a line graph with data from 1700 to 2000, tracking Population size (in million) on a left axis and Birth & Death Rate (per 1000 people) on a right axis, both scaled 0-60. Population size data points are: 1700 (~2.5), 1750 (~10), 1800 (~3), 1850 (~10), 1900 (~25), 1950 (~45), and 2000 (50). Birth rate data points (per 1000 people) are: 1700 (~30), 1750 (~40), 1800 (~40), 1850 (~32), 1900 (~30), 1950 (~22), and 2000 (~34). Death rate data points (per 1000 people) are: 1700 (~26), 1750 (~37), 1800 (~37), 1850 (~26), 1900 (~27), 1950 (20), and 2000 (20).

A line chart illustrates population size, birth and death rate of two countries between 1700 to 2000.
Overall, the size of population was increased rapidly. Birth and death rate declined gradually, but were in the same range of numbers throughout the period.
In 1700, population, birth and death rose, in having 10, 40, and around 30 million respectively. The rate of people born and died were constant starting around 1750. The fluctuation of all three then started around 1800.
From nearly 1850 to 1950, the number people in England and Wales took upward trend stantially, around 40 million. Although rate of people being born was around 30 million, it was the second highest. People dieing rate was 20 million. The highest of all was in population being exactly 50 million in size.
