The graph gives information about the transformation of percentages of students overseas who graduated from college in the Canadian region in 2001 and 2006. Overall, the trends in all provinces in 2006 were mostly higher compared to 2001, except Alberta.
In 2001 students who graduated in New Brunswick were the highest it was around 7%, followed by that was Nova Scotia at 6.5% and Quebec was 6.2%. Additionally, for students from abroad who completed their degree under 6%, there was Alberta at about 5.8%, next to British Columbia at around 5%, Manitoba and Newfoundland and Labrador were slightly similar at about 3.7%, and the lowest was Ontario at just around 3%.
On the other hand, the highest number of overseas students who finished their studies were in 2006. There was New Brunswick which reached about 11.8%, followed by that was British Columbia at around 10.3%, and Nova Scotia was estimated 10.2%. Surprisingly, compared to other regions Alberta just around 4.2% had international students who graduated in 2006. While Manitoba, and Newfoundland and Labrador remained higher compared to 2001 because they achieved around 7% of students from other countries. Lastly, Ontario had 6% of students overseas who finished their studies on their provinces.
