The maps illustrate the major alterations that Brindell and its neighboring areas underwent a period of two centuries starting from 1800. Overall, Brindell transformed itself from an agriculture based in town to an area with versatile functions.
In 1800, the whole terrain was largely desperated by River Stour, which can be seen in the middle of the layout. At the southwest end of river, Brindell was located. There were two agricultural zones proximal to Brindell, one to the north was farmland for planting crops, one to the west for animal to graze. At the northeast end of the river was woodland.
In 1990, the district witnessed several changes. Noticeably, the entire gazing area was converted. The upper part of the zone was substituted by industrial zones, and a village was constructed on the north for workers.
In 2000, many more variations were observed. There was the expansion of Bridell, and it became almost double size. The farmland and woodland were shrunk on account of the construction of Bun Hill Park. On the bottom east wing, vast quantities of industrial zones were added to the northeast of the village for labour
