The image displays a line graph that illustrates the consumption of fast food in Britain from 1970 to 1990. Units are measured in grams. Overall, people consumed more hamburgers and fish & chips, than consuming pizzas over the provided timeframe.
Focusing on upward trends first, in 1970, less than 100 grams of hamburgers, fish and chips where eaten by people. However, both types of food consumption increased gradually over the years until reaching above 100 grams in 1980. At that time, Hamburgers consumption substantially rose, and reached at a low of 300 grams in 1990, whilst fish & chips started being favoured more by people and showed a sharp rise of 500 grams in 1990.
On the other hand, the starting consumption of pizza was 300 grams and it decreased gradually to above 200 grams in 1980. This figure remained stable with only slight decrease unlike the other 2 types of fast food.
