The bar charts demonstrate comparison of different activites in the United States in 1980 and 2000.Overall,there is clear indication of that in both years the proportion of face-to-face communication and ‘other activities’ remain the same,however other activities showen on chart have changed.
A close look at the chart about 1980s, reveals that United States poeple were more likely to spent their time on phones which was 30 percent and least engaged activity was dealing with computer nearly 2 percent .Meanwhile being busy with paper documents (20 percent) and with meetings(19 percent) were followingly popular activity like spending time on phones amongh US people.
On the other hand the chart about 2000 shows that the popular activity among population was allocating time on computer,approximately 30 percent,meanwhile sending emails were least favorite activity nearly 8 percent of the nation.In addition,the proportion of usage of phones,paper documents and meetings sharply decreased compare to previous 20 years.
