The pie charts illustrates the standard percentages of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars in typical meals consumed in the USA , all of which might be harmful if consumed excessively.
Generally, it is evident that dinner was the most significant in sodium and saturated fats , while most of the added sugars was mostly in snacks.
To begin with, dinner has the largest per cent on sodium and saturated fat at 43% and 37% correspondingly compares to the added sugars which only has 23% consumed. Followed by lunch that has 29% in sodium, 26% in saturated fat and 19% in added sugars. To add more, snacks has the highest percentage at added sugars which has 42%.
On the other side, it is clear that breakfast had the lowest percentage on sodium and added sugars at 16%, followed by snacks at 21% in sodium. To add more, snacks and breakfast has the same percentage in sodium at 14%.
