The table depicts the internet usage for e-mail, online games, download music and videos, travel reservations, online purchase and searching for people by six different age groups.
Looking for an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the percentage of internet use for online games, download music and videos have decreased, while for e-mail, travel reservations, online purchase and searching for people have shown an increasing trend over the certain age groups.
With regards to the internet usage for online games, it started with 80% among the teens, but reduced to 29% among the senior age. Likewise, the use of internet for downloading musics and videos began with 52% by the teens, it declined to 8% in 60’s and 6% by the senior ages.
In terms of using internet for e-mails and online shopping have shown a marginal increase over the ages gorups, ranging from 90% by the teens to 91% by the senior ages and 39% over the teens to 40% by the senior people respectively. While the usage of internet for searching for people have started with 3% by teens and rose to 31% among the senior age groups. Moreover, the internet usage for travel reservation have increased rapidly, it began with 0% with the teens and 61% among the aged people.
