Overall, it can be seen that the majority of poor people were sole parents and single without children whereas, the minority of them were aged couple, single aged persons and couple without children.

In sharp contrast, compared to previous statistics, only three types of British people had lower percentages in terms of living in poverty than other five families. About 9% of poor people in the UK was couple without children, whereas %7 of those were single aged groups.
