The diagram illustrates the process of how aluminum cans are recycled. Overall, the process entails 11 steps, which can be grouped into 3 main stages: sending the collected cans to the factory, doing factory process and rolling the cans over 6 weeks period.
During the first stage, aluminium cans are collected by staff and then they are loaded on the lorries. Once loaded on lorries, cans are transported to the factory, where they are sorted after several steps. The following stage is reprocessing the transported cans, which includes 6 steps.
When cans have been sent to the factory, they are then washed with fresh water. Next, they are crushed with technological machines. Then aluminum cams are heated in oven, after which they are erased with chemicals.
Finally, semi-ready material is molded and then it is sent for weighting and rolling. After being rolled, the ready aluminum cans are distributed to different stores to mold drinks into them.
