The maps give detailed information about changes taking place in Liverpool John Moores University from 2010 to 2016.
It is clear that there was a dramatic change in the structure of Liverpool John Moores University, particularly in the development of transport facilities and academic buildings. It is also worth mentioning that only the Admin building remained more or less unchanged over the given period.
In 2010, the northern part of the university contained three separate academic buildings for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, along with a small car park to the south of them. By 2016, these subject-specific facilities were replaced by a single, larger Science building located in the same area. The original library in the northwest was also modernised and expanded into a Library & IT Suite. Additionally, the car park in this part of the campus was removed, and a footpath was introduced, providing pedestrian access between the new buildings.
In the southern part of the campus, the most notable change was the replacement of the former large car park and part of the road network with a bus station, indicating improved public transport facilities. A new café was built to the north of the bus station, adjacent to the library. Furthermore, a lecture theatre was constructed east of the Admin building, which retained its original location and structure. The entire area became more pedestrian-friendly with the addition of footpaths connecting all major facilities
