In this report, the average salary in the UK sorted by city is presented.
Overall, the average salary is quite uniform among the seven analyzed cities, except for London which records a significant higher salary with respect to other cities.
Three of the analyzed cities show an average revenue below 27,000 pounds. Among them we find Manchester with 25,909 pound (value based on 4,643 people), Glasgow with 26,150 pound (with 3,113 workers who took part in the survey) and Birmingham, in which the lowest salaries can be found, with 25,531 pound on average (value based on 2,949 values).
The other four cities all have higher salary, with London being the richest one in terms of money earned by workers, with 33,634 pound on average (London even has the highest participation rate on the survey with 50,951 members of the public). The second wealthiest city is Cambridge with 29,854 pound (value based on 2,180 people). Finally, Edinburgh and Bristol have almost the same salaries: 27,592 and 27,828, respectively (with 2,553 and 3,111 partecipants on the survey).
