Overall, expenditure on food, drinks and tobacco with the highest rate (32.14%) is observed in Turkey. Clothing and footwear spending in Italy is at the peak percentage rate (9.00%), while the consumption proportion in leisure and education is undoubtedly recorded highest (4.35%) in Turkey.
Initially, the highest spending in all countries was on food, drinks and tobacco, while the consumption in leisure and education is accounted for as the smallest proportion. Overall, Turkey showed the greatest expenditure in each category compared to the rest of the countries, while Sweden markedly spent the least on food, drinks and tobacco and Spain had the least record of outlay for leisure and education.
Regarding the food, drinks and tobacco, Turkey was recorded with the highest amount of consumption at 32.14%, followed by Ireland with 28.91%. Spain, Italy and Sweden spent less than 20%, which is appearing that Sweden has the lowest rate at 15.77%.
For clothing and footwear, Italy had the highest rate at 9%, by far higher than the other nations that ranged between 5.40% in Sweden and 6.63% in Turkey.
Expenditure on leisure and education was slight in all five countries. Turkey is ranked first at 4.35%, however, Spain is plateaued at the lowest with only 1.98%. Sweden and Italy spent almost the same at3.22% and 3.20% respectively, and Ireland at 2.21%.
