Paper and cardboard had the greatest percentage of recycling in 1982, about 65% and after some fluctuations its value returned to the same level in 1988. Then its rates experienced a sharp increase of 15%, reaching the highest results (80%), after which decrease for the all time, ended with 70% of material recycling. The recycling rate of glass containers was 50% at the start, then it declined up to the 40%. After which it saw a steady growth and peaked at 60%.
Recycling for alumininium cans started in 1984 with the proportion of 5%. In contrast with the others, its rates experienced only an intensive increases, and at the end of 2010 reached about 45%. The statistics of plastic recycling were not outstanding. Individuals have been recycling plastics since 1988, but after decades its rates were low. In 2010 it had not even reach the 10 % of total plastics recycling.
