The data presents the proportion of mobile phone operating systems — iOS, Android and Windows — in five countries: The UK, USA, Germany, China and Brazil.
OVERALL, Android shares dominated in all five countries, while usage of Windows was the lowest. Additionally, the percentage of iOS users was higher in USA and in the UK than in other countries.
In the UK and US, Android platform users made up just over a half of total proportion in each county. The majority of users aslo preferred iOS operating system in the UK (40%) and America (43%). Notably, Windows usage accounted for the lowest rate in Britain and USA, 7.5% and 4% respectively.
The figures regarding Android users in Germany and China showed around the same percentages, both just under three-quarters. The fraction German iOS users was twice as many as Windows users. Although, a quarter of total share in China was comprised by iOS platformers, whereas Windows stood at 1% — the lowest figure of the chart. Lastly, the largest amount of Android users were in Brazil – at 91%.
