The bar chart illustrates household expenses in six different countries in 2000, with predictions for 2025 and 2050. Units are measured in percentages.
Overall, at the beginning, house spendings in the EU took the largest share among other regions, while India stayed in the minority. However, all the figures are going to decline in the future, except for the China, India, and other countries.
In 2000, the largest amount of money spent on a household was fixed in the EU, accounting for 34.5%. The US and other regions spent 24.5% and 29%, respectively. Japan spent around 10.5% of the country’s budget. On the flip side, India and China showed the smallest percentage.
It is going to be in 2025 that India and China increased to 17% and 16%, correspondently. The EU along with Japan and the US will probably decrease, reaching 17.5%, 5%, and 9.5%. Other countries will go up to 35%.
China and India will maintain their steep upward trajectory until they reach 22% and 31.5% by 2050. The EU, the US, and other regions are projected to achieve 7.5%, 3.5%, and 33.5, showing a downward trend.
