Overall, what stands out is that bus transportation’s usage declined dramatically, while that of car, rail and other types of transport saw a negligible increase.
To begin with, the proportion of car transportation made up originally 30% . By 1995, this figure roughly doubled, comprising 70%. Over the 5-8 years, this percentage grew considerably, peaking at 85% between 2000 and 2005. Conversely, initial bus using percentage – 55 fell dramatically and accounted for only a little more than 10% by 2000. In terms of rail usage, its percentage decreased 1985’s 20% halved to nearly 10% over the period between 1985 and 2015.
To be more precise, the number of car travelling saw flactuated decrease, falling to 70% by 2015. Similarly, bus transportation felt significantly to around 5%, reaching its bottom in 2015. Nonetheless, the reverse was true for rail transportation figure, which grew to 20% from ~9%.
