The chart illustrate the prices of 800 grams of different types of breads including wholegrain, brown, white and rye in a Eroupean country from 2001 to 2006. Prices of those are mesured in euros.
As can be seen from the picture, prices of the four breads except for wholegrain increased over the period. Wholegrain used to be the most expensive but it was taken out by the brown bread. Rye bread remained the cheapest one among the four types.
In 2001 and 2002, whole grain first started at 0.8 euros and end at 1.8 euros in 2002. However,its prices dropped dramatically to 0.7 eueuros in 2004 before turning back to 0.8 euros in 2005.
While wholegrain dramatically changed, brown,white and rye bread have slightly increased from 2002 to 2005. The prices of brown bread rised to be the most expensive types in 2005 at 1.6 euros. White bread slight increased from 0.6 to 1.3 euros in 2005. And rye bread remain stable as the cheapest option at 0.7 euros in 2005.
