The bar chart shows information about what kind of High school two genders chose to go in the UK in 2009.
Overall, the amount of male students who had entered comprehensive schools was more than in three other schools, while females gave their preference to grammar schools. In both genders faith schools attracted the least number of students.
The number of male students attended to comprehensive was 56201 being most-attendent schools, while in female these schools were less in demand with 41560 pupils. As regards grammar schools, there was almost twenty thousand less male students(36955), whereas among girls it had been the number one choice according to the indicator which was 43687 students.
Academies and faith schools attracted far less students in both genders. Amount of boys who chose academies was 10102 which was merely two times more than the ones in faith schools(7140 students). Furthermore, girls also were more likely to choose academies over faith schools as number of femals entering academies was 12106 and 7140 in faith schools.
