Overall,the number of teachers in Brazil and Luxembourg witnessed a significant decline throughout.While the opposite trend can be seen in Japan and Czech Republic, as the figures for the former increased and the latter saw a stable remain.
Regarding the decreasing countries,approximately 20% secondary teachers were teaching in Brazil,which was higher than that of Luxembourg,at roughly 18%. After which,the percentage of teachers in Brazil plummeted to about 15% at the end of the period.Luxembourg experienced a similar pattern,the number of people choosing secondary teachers as their jobs in this country fluctuated at around 15% in the first two years,prior to hitting a low of 14% in 2011,and finished at exactly 10%.
Turning to the remaining categories,the percentage of teachers in Japan started at 9%,which was one and a half times the figure for the Czech Republic (6 %).Since then,secondary teachers in Japan recorded a remarkable surge over the period shown and reached nearly 15% in 2017,overtaking Brazil and Luxembourg to become the country having the highest number of people working as secondary teachers among four surveyed countries.Similarly,the figure for the Czech Republic witnessed a fluctuation between 5% and 10%,before turning to the initial position in 2017.
