The line chart demonstrates data on ratio of Australian exports to four different countries: Japan, the US, China and India from 1990 to 2012.
Overall, the percent of imports in Japan slightly declined between 1990 and 2012, but statistics of China increase significantly during this period, and become dominant end of the period.
When it comes to the percent of exports to Japan from Australia, which stood at 27% in 1990, decline by only 10% in 2000, but had soured just 17% by 2012. However, the ratio of import in China experienced slightly rose from 3% to 5% between 1990 and 2000, but this trend considerably increase from 5% to 25% by 2010. Surprisingly, this figure increase slightly from 25% to 28% between 2010 and 2012.
The percent of export to the U.S.A decline only slightly from around 12% to 8% between 1990 and 1995, but had increase to just over 12% by 2000. However, this trend rapidly fall from 12% to 4% between 2000 and 2010, but in the next two year, this figure increase by 4%. Surprisingly, the statistics of India remained unchanged at 2% between 1990 and 2000, but this figure experienced sharply increase from 2% to 8% in the next deacade. Conversely, this figure slightly decrease from 8% to 5% by 2012.
