The given pie charts illustrate the percentage of users in five different age groups on three social media platforms.
As can be observed, most users in the social apps were in the 35-49 and 18-34 age group per year, also the main using app after these age group is in the 50-64 age group. About the elders, they also used the social apps but, not like the other age group. The teenagers spent their time in social apps less than adults.
In detail, It is visible that social media users within the 18-34 age group account for 26% and 29% on Facebook and YouTube, respectively, and are approximately 14% higher on Twitter, at 40%. A similar trend can be seen when we look at people in the 35-49 age range. This group accounts for 29% on YouTube and Twitter and 1% higher on Facebook, at 30%.
The other age groups are not dramatically different. In terms the 50-64 age group individuals used exactly 20% in Youtube, 19% in Facebook, 18% in Twitter. The age in 10-17 represents a relatively small at around 9% in Twitter, 15% in Youtube, 14% in Facebook. The elders used a small proportion of social apps to nearly 4% in Twitter, about Youtube and Facebook it reached only 8% in Facebook. Elders the largest proportion were Youtube approximately 10% overall.
