The two layouts depict changes in the room of a common student between five years ago and now.

From an overall perspective, it is apparent that the room has undergone various significant modifications, varying from the appearance of more convenient facilities to the removal and shape-change of the tables located in the central area. In addition, major parts in the top of the map have remained untouched.

First of all, it can be observed that on the top of the plan, after 5 years, only the right bench has been replaced by a new microwave while other facilities close-by still have been unchanged. Regarding the tables, now there are three tables instead of four as in the past. One of those has been transformed into a square one with larger capacity.

Furthermore, the bookshelf in the bottom right corner of the map has been eliminated to make room for a television and some armchairs. Moreover, the top right table has been moved slightly to the left so that a machine for drinks storage can be provided into the room. Finally, a bench for laptops has appeared in the bottom center of the layout.
