The diagram illustrates the process of obtaining a driving license in the US.
Overall, the process involves at least 7 steps in which a candidate has to pass three prerequisite tests, namely an eyesight test, a written theoretical examination, and a practical driving examination.
The process commences when unlicensed participants come to the driving license center to fill out a form, before taking an eyesight test which decides whether they are allowed to go further or not. Once passing the eyesight test, a candidate has to pay a fee for the remaining tests.
The process continues with the written test, which offers two more chances to retake without any additional cost if the candidate fails. After successfully finishing this, they are able to have a road test before being qualified and achieving the driver license. However, in the case of failing the road test, they have to pay the fee and take both tests again.
