The bar chart illustrates the distribution of employment – in agriculture, services, and industries – in three different countries – countries A, B, and C – in the years 1980 and 2020.
Overall, it is clear that the workforce distribution in agriculture in both the country A and the country C was leading sector among others, whereas in the country B the agricultural sector dominated in the given period. Of particular note is that in all countries the industry sector did not surpassed other two sectors during the given period.
Starting with the first year, 1980, in the two countries, A and C, the tertriary part was dominant sector, with approximately 45% and 63% respectively. When it comes to the country B different patterns can be observed. This country accounted for the largest share of the distribution of workforce in agriculture at around 70%. All countries accounted for no more than 40%, in terms of the industry quarter in this year.
As far as the next given year is concerned, different patterns can be observed. In 2020, the services zone remained the dominant sector throughout the period with a slight increase in the countries A and B, with about less than 80%. In addition, in the country B the agriculture sector experienced a noticeable rise at around 10%. With regards to the industry part, the countries A and C showed a slight decrease, at approximately 9%, while the country B experienced an increase and stood at no more than 30%.
