overall, in 2000, people used cars the most but the rate slightly dropped in 2020 although it remained high as compared to other modes of transport.

in 2000, cars were the predominant mode of transport accounting for 60%, this figure however decreased to 50% by 2020. In contrast public transport witnessed rise from about 25% to 30% in 2020. meanwhile bicycle also reflected a positive trend escalating from 5% to 10%. which indicates preference of environment friendly transport.

Walkingremained constant over the two period, maintaining a percentage of 10% whilst there was a slight decline for cars and an increase in bicycles and public transport. the data highlights the quit preference for public transport in london over personal vehicle.
