Overall, all three years of tourists in Dubai have 3 groups of nationalities, American, Saudi Arabian, and Indian. Over the three years, Indians show significant rise among the tourists, becoming the highest among the other nationalities in 2020. Similarly, Americans also show a relatively steady increase, only becoming the highest in 2015. In addition. Saudi Arabians, even though showing falls over the three years, had the highest percentage in 2010.
In the first year, Saudi Arabian tourists diverged from the other two nationalities, obtaining around 15% of the total tourist population. However, Indian tourists also showed significant differences, gaining appoximately a total of 5%, while Americans stay between them at around 9%.
In the second year, Saudi Arabian tourists’ percentage fell drastically from around 14% in 2010 to around 11% in 2015. On the other hand, the other two nationalities experienced a rise in percentage where Americans increased to around 12% in 2015 and Indians increased to around 8%.
Lastly, in the third year, all nationalities did not show any falling trends. However, Indians diverged from the other two nationalities that had the same percentage, around 12%, now at 14%, marking itself as the nationality with the highest percentage by 2020.
