To begin with, there was a comparable trend in the amount spent on console games, outdoor game accessories, and cosmetics. The figures for Britain took the lead with expenditures of 156, 157, and 160 thousand pounds, respectively, followed by Spain, which spent 150 thousand pounds on console games and 154 thousand pounds on the other two products. Meanwhile, Belgium ranked third in expenditure on these three items with an average of approximately 148 thousand pounds, while Austria ranked last with an average expenditure of 143 thousand pounds.
In terms of books, toys, and cameras, a similar pattern can be observed across all three categories during this period. Britain held the top position with the highest expenditure on cameras at 170 thousand pounds. Interestingly, Austria claimed the second position with spending figures of 157, 156, and 165 thousand pounds, respectively, accompanied by that of Spain averaging 155 thousand pounds and the figure of Belgium took the lowest rank with 145 thousand pounds on average.
