To be more specific, British consumers allocated the highest amount of money, with spending ranging from over 155,000 pounds to 160,000 pounds. It was closely followed by Spain whose expenditure on these categories stood at less than 155,000 pounds, whereas Austria and Belgium recorded relatively modest figures, with spending under 155,000 pounds.
Regarding the highest levels of spending were seen in books, toys and cameras across the four nations. Specifically, Britain remained the largest spending, hitting a peak of 170,000 pounds for cameras in 2012. Austria, the second-highest spender, exhibited relatively high figures, with an average of around 160,000 pounds for each. Meanwhile, Spain showed moderate amounts, Belgium continued to record the lowest spending across all six groups.
