Firstly, we understand that Youtube was the most used social media by Australians, as its user range starts with 12.5 millions in 2018 to almost 18 millions users in 2020. It shows that the number of Australians using Youtube increased by 5.5 millions. Then comes Facebook, which social media did the opposite, indeed its users decreased by 2 millions. Therefore, it dropped from 12million Australian users in 2018 to 10million in 2020. In contrary, Whatsapp was the social media which increased its user significativly, starting with only 4 millions users in 2018 to a little bit less than 10 millions in 2020.Moreover, both Twitter and Instagram reached somewhat of a plateau during those three years without any major changes, both settling around 4 millions Australians users.

To conclude, the two social media which increased its users the most in Australia were Youtube and WhatsApp, whereas Facebook lost some of his. Finally, Twitter and Instagram didn’t experience any major changes.
