The given chart below provides information about the weekly time spent on leisure activities by men and women in five various professions in 1998 and 1999.
Overall, it is clear from the chart that both males and females who do not work and retired from work spent the same amount of time, while men who are employed in a part-time job and became househusbands do not spend any free time for a week.
As the bar graph shows, people who became redundant and exited the workforce enjoyed the same amount of leisure time, approximately 82 hours for men and about 75 hours for women. Regarding fully employed ladies, the spare time spent by them includes nearly 40 hours, while the figure for males contains almost 50 hours for a typical week.
With regard to part-time jobs employed and those who are home managers, we can see that men do not take part in these two sections. Leisure time is only spent by females: 41 hours for half-time job-employed ones and approximately 58 hours for housewives.
