The bar chart provides information on the number of employed individuals in terms of their occupation, as well as their gender, for the past year. Overall, we can see that more males are employed in all the job types mentioned, with the exception of professionals, and clericals. Also, the highest gender gap occured amongst people who work as traders.
Professional and clerical job types attracted more women than men, with 700 female employees which is 50 more than the opposite gender, and almost a thousand in clerical. In contrast, there are 600 male managers compared to 200 of the other gender. However, there are 400 male labourers, and only 280 females.
Additionally, people who are semi-professionals are mostly men, with 150 more employees than women. Moreover, males who worke in trade are nine times more than females who do. Similarly in production where the gap is six times more in favour of the men.
