Overall, women had higher participitation than men in 2009 in all categories except for sculpture. The number of participants aged 50 or over was higher than participants in ohter age groups.
As far as painting and language courses are concerned, they had the highest participation rates across both genders; there 25 male participants in painting and 20 male participants in language courses in 2009, along with 30 and 40 female participants, respectively. The number of man participants in drama course was 10, while female participants numbered 20. In sculpture course, the number of male and female participants was 10 and 5, respectively.
When it comes to the remaining ones, the number of participants aged 50 or over constituted the largest portion in age groups, at 42%. This was followed by those aged between 40 to 49, 30 to 39 and 20-29, with participation rates of 26%, 16% and 11%, respectively. Participants under the age of 20 accounted for 5%.
