In 2020, the resolutions related to better financial management and healthier eating had the highest proportions, each accounting for around 19%, which makes it the top category of resolutions. Meanwhile, the desire to work out more was also significant, with almost 18%, ranking as the third most common New Year’s resolution among Americans. Additionally, the resolution to lose weight garnered about 17% during this year.
Regarding mental health, the percentage of Americans resolving to improve this area was about 14%, while the objective of being more socially active was represented at around 12%. Furthermore, developing a skill and focusing on environmental friendliness each received less than 8%, making them the lowest resolution categories in America for 2020.
