The given chart compares the average body exercise done by men and women living in Australia in 2010. Overall, women of all ages tended to do more physical activity regularly than men, except for the youngest group.
Teenage females aged 15 to 24 regularly exercised by 47.7 percent and continued to soar by averaging more than men. Then, the group of 45 to 54 reached the highest percentage doing consistent exercise by 53.3. Nevertheless, the older groups did 0.3 percent less for the females aged 55 to 64, and the lowest average of 47.1 percent for women that were 65 and over.
Starting from the group of 15 to 24, males were recorded to exercise for 52.8 percent, outnumbered the females. However, the older men that were in the range of 25 to 34 and 35 to 44 accounted for fewer percentages by 42.2 and 39.5 respectively. Afterward, the trends were upgraded in males from the other groups, reaching a peak of 46.7 percent by the age of 65 and older, a slight difference compared to the females.
