The bar illustrates the percentage of New Zealand residents of different ages groups who did physical activity in 2008. Overall, mot of ages groups of women who exercised physical activity than men except 14 to 23 ages group. While , men group of 34 to 43 was lowest in the graph.
Look at the women categories, 44 to 53 ages group was the highest among any women groups, figure at 54.2 percent, followed by 34 to 43 and 54 to 63. The youngest group had lowest percentage, percent.
The difference between the highest and lowest figures in this category was approximately under 10 percent point.
In term of men, ages group of 14to 23 had highest rate at 51.7 percent,most participated in regular exercise. The lowest group was 34 to 43 and 38.8 percent. As we can see, there were big gaps between women and men rate in 34 to 43 which was highest and lowest one which is 53.1 percent and 38.8 percent. Those had gaps around 20 percent. In all ages of group proportion , women try to enjoy regular activities to stay healthy and beauty.
