The supplied bar chart shows the comparison of the proportion of men and women involved in physical activity in 2010.
The bar chart data clearly shows that men engaged in physical activities more than women, except for the 14-23 age group. It is also worth noting that both figures experienced fluctuations throughout the age groups, finalising with similar percentages in the last year.
The proportion of men doing physical activities underwent a serious decline as age increased, before recovering until the final year, reaching nearly half. The figure for females saw a different tendency, though, increasing gradually until the zenith of 54.2% in the 44-53 age group, afterwards declining to 48.1% in the 64 and above group. It is readily apparent that the biggest difference between men and female figures was observed in the 34-43 age group, with the female proportion exceeding the male one by nearly 15%, although they showed a similar percentage in the 64 and above group.
