The bar chart depicts the proportion of people who exercised regularly, measured as percentages, in four different age groups – 18-29 years old, 30-44 years old, 45-59 years old, and over 60 years old – over 10 years period from 2005 to 2015.
Overall, the elderly people (over 60 years old) consistently formed the smallest proportion during the period. Meanwhile, young age group (18-29 years old) steadily formed the biggest proportion during those 10 years period.
Between 2005 and 2015, the percentage of people who formed regular exercised in age group 18-29 and 45-59 years old increased by 8%, from 52% to 60% and 42% to 50% each. Furthermore, age group 30-44 years old rose slightly less than those group by 7%, from 48% to 55%.
During the period, the figure showed that the proportion of elderly people who performed regular exercise climbed sharply by 10%, from 35% to 45%. This was the most increased proportion throughout the year.
