The bar chart compares the rate of male and female students who passed their high school exams from seven different subjects in two years, 2010 and 2011.
Overall, while boys showed better results only at geography, the proportion of female students who passed all the exams was higher than that of male students over the frame time.
According to the bar chart, from 2010 and 2011, the rate of girls who succeeded in physics exams was 36.7%, which was higher than that of boys by 2.1% at the same. In terms of chemistry exams, female students(30.2%) again were more successful than male students(11.1%). Moreover, 25.6% of girls and 22.9% of boys had passed the history exams, which were the lowest indicators among all subjects. Unfortunately, geography was solely subject, which was passed by more male students(30.4%) than female students(20.1).
Throughout the period, foreign languages and mathematics had the great proportion of passed students. The figure for foreign languages made up 47.4% for girls and 46.8% for boys, while mathematics comprised 49.2% and 48.4%, respectively. In comparison with the rate of female students(56.3%), which was the highest figure over the period, the percentage of male students was only 42.1%.
