In terms of the most important factors for younger workers, nearly 90% value personal development, while about 80% emphasize promotion prospects. A comfortable working environment is also chosen by about 60%, significantly higher than the proportion of older workers who value this.
In contrast, older workers value job security and money more, both at about 70%. They also placed significantly more importance on respect from colleagues, while these factors were less important for workers aged 18-30.
When turning to other factors, teamwork and having a good boss were rated similarly by both groups. Meanwhile, job satisfaction and the overall work environment showed only moderate differences, with slightly higher levels of importance for younger workers.
