The bart chart compares the proportion of Australian male and female students taking part in 4 different sport exercises after school in 2010. Overall, football was the most popular type of sport among boys, while netball is true for girls. Other sport activities were attended almost same amounts by both correspondents.
Boys attended most in football among all the other activities with 20%, while which is approximately 5 times more than girls attendants. In terms of netball, it is obvious that most participants included female students at around 17.5%, compared to around 2.5% for boys.
Swimming was the most attended type of sport among all these four which accounted for almost 14% and 16% for male and female students respectively. Quite opposite can be seen with basketball participants which is amounted about 7% and 8%.
Students who didn’t attend none of these sport activities consisted almost 10% of all pupils which is 4% for boys and 5% for girls.
