More specifically, the number of boys attending in football was significantly higher than that of girls. The percentage of boys was four times greater than the rate of girls, with 20% as opposed to roughly 5%. A similar trend showed in netball, with girls the highest engagement in that sport. However, netball was the least common activity among boys,with only approximately 3% compared to 17% of girls.
On the other hand, both boys and girls shared almost similar interests in swimming and basketball, with around 15% in swimming and nearly 7% in basketball. Moreover, a small percentage of students roughly 5% did not participate in any sport.
